The Austrian Zoo organization was founded in 2001 with 4 founding members (Tiergarten Schönbrunn, Zoo Salzburg, Alpenzoo Innsbruck, Tierpark Herberstein), today it associates the most important Austrian zoos, aquaria and terraria.
