Holá Hora EcoPark

Originally Station of Young Naturalists, later Holá Hora Ecocentre. In 2009 a complete renovation and change to the municipal zoopark "Ekoland" was planed. There should be farmer's yard and nine animal houses (of European carnivores, of monkeys, of exotic birds, of waterfowl, aquaterrarium...). Beasts of pray, monkeys, bears, wolves, zebras, camels, horses, exotic reptiles, deer should be there... Although this renovation and its funding was provisionally approved (2008), it never happened.

Around 2013, the situation was desperate - the EkoPark in poor condition and operating organization of ABC Leisure Centre did not have enough funds to operate. Finally (in 2014) the EkoPark moved to the new operator - Technical Services. It has been renovated, however in roughly the same range as before (ecological park, not zoo).

Renovated EkoPark has, among other things also Farmer's nature trail (naučný farmársky chodník) - de facto a mini zoo of domestic animals (ponies, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, geese, pheasants, guinea pigs, rabbits) and aviaries of pigeons and common "home" parrots (cockatiels, budgies, rosellas, lovebirds...). In the administrative building there is a small aquarium - terrarium (one room), however it should be abolished in the future (during renovation of the administrative building) and in the floor there are reportedly rodents, couple of green monkeys and other parrots. Previously, there were also another monkeys (probably macaques), llamas, porcupines...
