Szentendre Aquarium and Terrarium House

Aquarium and terrarium which served to a large extent for contact of visitors with animals. In the upper part of the house there were terrariums with reptiles of three continents (Africa, America, Asia) and night room, in a vaulted cellar there was aquarium of river (especially the Danube) fish. Snakes, lizards (agamas, chameleons, geckos, monitors...), turtles, axolotls, frogs, fish, rodents (mice, rats, jerboas, wild rabbits...), opossums and perhaps even hedgehogs and invertebrates.

In the late 2014 (ie after less than a year of operation) the Aquarium - terrarium has been closed - due to preparations for the creation of a new real zoo in Szentendre.
