    Originally Rescue Station in Votice what was established in 1998, also the Center for Ecological Education (CEV or Ekocentrum) simultaneously began arise, which was appointed the Regional Centre for Environmental Education and Awareness of the Středočeský Region in 2006. By that the Eco-centre was opened to the public. In addition to lecture halls and so on there was also an exhibition of permanently disabled animals (martens, foxes, racoon dogs, raptors, owls, herons, storks, waterfowl, songbirds etc.).

    The area in Votice gradually began to be small and so new moder Eco-centre was created in nearby currently opened Čapí hnízdo (2011) and a year later the Centre for Conservation of fauna of Czech republic in Hrachov, where also main centre of the organization was moved. Votice thus became a branch. Rescue station remained here, but the exhibitions was abolished. However finally (about in 2014), an Ecocentre was opened and soon several handicapped animals were again added.

    In 2015, a new "butterfliarium" began to be created here and 1st July 2016, it was opened to the public - a butterfly garden in greenhouses of the Ecocentre with increasingly rare native species - about 16 of them is planed to breed, initially mostly small tortoiseshells and whites. The greenhouse is divided into several biotope zones. Butterflies are reproduced, and although they are in a greenhouse, they can fly away - the path to freedom are free.

    In addition of butterflies, there are several aviaries with handicapped birds (owls, raptors, rooks, jackdaws, quails, songbirds...) and small mammals (squirrels, martens, dormouses...)
