    Although the neme of aquarium in Hradec Kralove is Giant, it's in fact a very small aquarium... Very small as a total zoological facility, giant as a freshwater tank (5x8 m, water level 4.8m - capacity of 130,000 litres)... It is de facto especially a single huge freshwater aquarium plus a few more or less insignificant things scattered throughout the building. Main - the giant aquarium with freshwater fish of South, Central and North America is available first by the bridge above the water level, where the small tropical rain forest (with plants, geckos, anolises, phelsumas and so on) is made in a small area. Then, on the contrary, the access is from the floor - by the tunnel. In the aquarium there are about 500 fish of about 40 species (arowana, acaras (Aequidens), Loricariidae, Parachromis, herbivorous piranhas, Characiformes, Oscar fish, silver prochilodus, cichlids of genuses Amphilophus, Vieja, Nandopsis etc.). Behind this aquarium is a room with collection of fish skulls. From outside the house is on the second floor a projection room "U rejnoka", where are small aquariums with stingrays and water turtles. On the third floor there is "Café piraňa" aquariums with aquariums of predatory piranhas and Amazon parrots aviary. Next to the house (in the land of school) there is Enclosure of goats.
