Bílá Lhota Deer Park

Non-public private deer park - the largest collection of Cervidae in Czech republic and one of the largest in Europe - the herds of 10 species and subspecies of deer - red deer (also white form), fallow deer, Indochinese, Japanese and Dybowski's Sika, Pere David's deer, Maral, white-tailed deer, chital, and Reeve's munthac and white crossbreed of maral and red deer. Previously also wapiti, swamp deer, purebred wisent and nilgai. planned are also other deer (eg. Persian fallow deer, thamin etc.). The main area (about 6 huge enclosures - cca 38 ha) is located near Pateřín and Bílá Lhota (about 1 km by beeline away from Pateřín and 1,5 km from Bílá Lhota), two smaller enclosures - about 0,.5 ha (muntjacs, chitals) are in Bílá Lhota in the garden of owner of the park. Prospective it is considering about opening the park to the public (but so far there is a problem with non-existent corresponding access road).
