Tiergarten Asch • Park zvířat Aš • Zoopark Aš

Small animal garden that was created sometime before the war at the end of today's Palackého Street in a park founded by a local industrialist and patron Gustav Geipel (Gaipelův park). From the photos, it is clear that there were enclosures of fallow and roe deer (and probably also red deer), enclosure of guinea pigs with a beautiful wooden house, several aviaries with foxes, pheasants and other birds or smaller mammals, and a little pond with an island for waterfowl (also the foundations of two buildings remains in the place, but it is not known what buildings these were).

The Zoo-corner, in German called Tierpark or Tiergarten, probably disappeared during WWII, but some contemporary witnesses say that some animals (at least ducks and pheasant) lived here still around 1960.
